Heirloom Vocals

Memorial

When someone we love passes,
what we miss most is often the smallest things —
the way they said our name.

We help you keep it.

Heirloom Vocals lets you build a voice profile from the recordings you already have — old voicemails, video clips, voice memos — so you can hear their voice again, when you need to.

Start a memorial voice profile

No credit card to begin. We treat this with care.

A few honest things, first.

This isn’t a way to bring someone back. We’re careful never to suggest that.

What we do: take what they left behind — the audio that already exists in voicemails, old videos, voice memos — and build something you can return to. A voice you can hear, on a quiet morning, saying your name.

It works best when there’s at least a few minutes of clear audio of them speaking. We’ll show you what to look for, and how to make the most of even small fragments.

The flow is the same. We take it slower.

  1. 1

    Tell us about them

Their name, their relationship to you, a little about who they were if you'd like. This information stays private and helps the voice feel like them.

  2. 2

    Upload what you have

Voicemails. Old videos. Wedding speeches. Birthday recordings. Voice memos on their old phone. We'll extract audio from video, clean it up, and find their voice in the noise.

  3. 3

The Coach helps you find more

Our Audio Coach looks at what you've uploaded and suggests where else to look — types of recordings most families have but forget about. It's surprising how often people find another twenty minutes after the first pass.

  4. 4

Build the profile, when you're ready

You can take this slowly. We don't pressure you. Profiles can be built up over weeks if that's what you need.

A note on consent.

When the voice subject has passed, we ask the person creating the profile to attest as next-of-kin or designated representative. This is more involved than our other flows, on purpose.

We do this because voices belong to the people they came from, even after. Building a careful authorization process is how we honor that.

If other family members ever raise concerns about a memorial profile, we listen, and we pause profiles while we figure things out — together.

What you build here, stays here.

A memorial profile isn’t a one-time act. It’s a long-term keepsake. We’ve built Heirloom Vocals to hold that with the seriousness it deserves.

  • Encrypted at rest, encrypted in transit, per-account keys
  • Beneficiary designation: name the family members who inherit access if anything ever happens to you
  • Annual stewardship — we keep your vault running, your data safe, your access reliable
  • A written promise about what happens if we ever shut down — 90 days of notice, full export, help moving it somewhere safe

This is the actual product. Cloning is the moment. Stewardship is what we sell.

Built for keeping.

For memorial profiles, most families choose the Legacy plan — designed for the long term, with a higher-fidelity voice and a beneficiary you can name today.

Questions families ask.

I only have a voicemail or two. Is that enough?

For a basic profile, sometimes — even thirty seconds can produce something recognizable. For a higher-fidelity profile, we'd suggest five minutes or more if you can find it. Our Audio Coach will be honest with you about what's possible from what you have.

What if I find more audio later?

You can add to a profile any time. The voice gets better, more flexible, more like them.

What about other family members? Can they have access?

Yes. The Family plan lets multiple people share access to a profile. The Legacy plan lets you name beneficiaries who inherit access if something happens to you.

What if a family member disagrees with the profile being created?

We have a process for that, and we use it. Profiles can be paused while families talk through concerns. We don't take sides, and we don't override family wishes.

I'm not sure I'm ready. Is that okay?

That's okay. You can save your account and come back. Many people find the first weeks too soon, and revisit months or years later. There's no deadline, on us.

What if Heirloom Vocals shuts down?

Ninety days of advance notice. A full export of everything you've built. Help moving it somewhere safe. It's written into our terms.
